The Wells County Regional Sewer District (WCRSD) was established to provide sanitary sewer service in unincorporated areas of Wells County. The mission of the WCRSD is to develop sanitary solutions for areas that have similar environmental problems to the original project in the McKinney/Paxson project area. There are several of these areas throughout the county. Our goal is to partner with the residents of these unincorporated areas to ensure that your homes have access to viable sanitary sewer solutions.
As our properties age, the condition of on-site sewer solutions age as well. In most cases, these legacy on-site septic installations are not up to current code requirements. In many unincorporated towns, property owners lack sufficient space to build code-compliant on-site sewer solutions. This reality leads to significant challenges for home owners to maintain their home's value, particularly when these aging septic solutions fail. And that's where the WCRSD can help. By coordinating the development and installation of major public works projects like sanitary sewers, the WCRSD effectively partners with home owners in these areas and the Wells County Health Department to ensure that there are working sewer solutions.
Thanks for your continued support of the WCRSD mission. We look forward to continuing to partner with you and the health department to ensure that home values are maintained by leveraging the public sewer installations we are bringing to local unincorporated municipalities around Wells County, Indiana.
